Although Wordpress is best known as a blogging tool rather than a content management system, its lack of feature bloat made it ideal for crafting templates with unique functionality without having to contend with an overly complex backend.
The site went through a number of design iterations before settling on a colourful and sophisticated design which draws attention to relevant content, while helping users discover other information and products they may be interested in.
